Is it Here Yet?

Every other email and/or phone call to the shop lately is an inquiry from an anxious client about their new SUP Sports wood paddleboard due in on our latest container…

Good news…IT’S HERE!

Wayullll…almost…it’s in LA and still has to clear customs before it’s released and transported to us…;-)

So, in the meantime, we loaded up a few water toys in the Sprinter for a semi-local escape to Central California’s wine country coast…

ROAD TRIP!!!

Our dogs ride inside…;-)

Gorgeous bazillion dollar cove all to ourselves…

Or so you’d like to think…the area is home to a burgeoning Elephant Seal population…hmmmm…lots of good food for someone higher on the food chain…;-)

We were the first ones to standup paddle here back in the SUP pioneer days in the fall/winter of 2005/2006…it wasn’t the mid-1800’s…but, it may as well have been…;-)

Deb pioneered a number of spots in California on a standup paddleboard…in fact, we think she was the 1st wahine standup paddler in the Americas (North and South)…the boards didn’t have recessed hand holds back in the day…so, not many women could/would do a shoulder carry…at least they weren’t made out of redwood and weighed 100#…;-)

Now she’s styling it with one of our FeatherLite carbon 6 channel One World models…

Deb taking in the enchanting view of the caves along the point…

A man’s home is his castle…;-)
