Magic Hour in the Good Land

The “magic hour” is what we usually refer to ’round here as that last hour of the day when the afternoon seabreeze lays down and the water conditions on the ocean start smoothing out and get glassy…when that didn’t happen yesterday afternoon after a busy Father’s Day at the shop, we decided to paddle the path of the least resistance…boards were already in Deb’s van…baggies were on…grab the paddle and go…it turned out to be a nice little hour long adventure…the magic hour in our own little private Idaho…after poaching the pond, we topped the day off with a perfect dinner, and sunset, at the Beachside…welcome to Summer!

Hope you had a great Father’s day yesterday and are enjoying the Summer Solstice today…officially now is first day of Summer…

Hobie 12’6″ SUP Race and QuickBlade bamboo SUP paddle…sweet ride…

Lots of birds down on the bayou…egret at dinner time…

Adventure is where you find it…sometimes it’s in your own backyard…
