We’re working with a woman that has a husband on deployment in the Middle East…who fortunately is coming home soon…boy, is he gonna be surprised when he opens the garage door…;-)
Congrats to Starboard team rider Dave Muir (Australia) on his impressive win at the Sapinus Pro – Tahiti SUP event…even more impressive was that he was riding a stock production Starboard 9’8″ x 29″…and, even more impressive than that is he did it on his backside…
Starboard also claimed 2nd place honors with Tahiti’s Tama Audibert also riding a stock 9’8″ x 30″ Element…
This was no easy competition…Waterman League organized an invitee list of big wave riding athletes ramping up the caliber of surfing required to win at this level…

Well…it’s always had it’s fair share of ruggedness and adventure…so, I reckon the danger is just part of the Baja mystique…
