Windy Surfing

Seems that the seasons are starting to turn…the Spring Equinox is on the horizon…
You can almost count the weeks left in Winter on one hand…

Spring winds will generate wind swell here in the Santa Barbara Channel…plenty good enough for standup paddle surfing…you can also easily throw a sail rig on your SUP and cruise, if it has an attachment…we’ve had lots of interest in longboard windsurfing…locally, and we’ve also sent SUP’s and sail rig packages to Eureka, San Francisco, and San Diego last week…season change is definitely in the air…and our clients are getting prepared to take advantage of whatever recreational opportunities crop up…be it using a paddle or sail rig on their SUP’s…

Longboard wavesailing…

Our Starboard and Naish SUP’s have sail attachment points…or, if you want to tackle the winds and waves head-on, you can rig up some higher wind windsurfing gear and ride some waves…or, go bust some big airs and loops…it’s all good…we’ve been surfing and windsurfing for several decades…with SUP, you’re totally covered no matter what the wind and waves are up to…

No wind…no waves…no worries…

One hand tail grab…
